This event is open to the public as well as those interested research or in commissioning and providing good care. Older people with dementia and their families are particularly welcome as there will be opportunity for them to share their cultural experiences using music and story- telling activities if they wish. We will showcase our legacy of dementia care innovation and research in Hull which grew from 1991 to an active national and international network that has received significant awards for applied health and social care dementia research today.  We will then discuss the potential for Hull University with communities across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire to create a positive future for continued research and practice for those of us who wish to age well and live a good life with or without dementia.

With afternoon tea at 3.00 and a drinks reception at 5.00, where those who want to contribute to the future of ageing well in Hull and the Est Riding of Yorkshire can meet and talk to researchers and each other.

Further details on directions will be emailed out to delegates closer to the time of the event.
