Staff parking permits are available to those with a University payroll number only. The cost for this permit is £87.50 per year. Payments will be deducted from your salary on a monthly basis.
The University classifies part-time employees as those contracted to work 22.5 hours a week or less. The number of working hours entered on your application will be verified with the Payroll department.

Have you considered alternative methods of travel?
The University encourages staff and students to use alternative methods of travel and you should be aware that having a parking permit does not guarantee a parking space will always be available on campus.
There is plenty of cycle storage around the campus and you don’t even have to own your own bike, you can rent one from our Bike Hub which is excellent value for money. You might also like to think about joining our Liftshare scheme. Liftshare can help you find colleagues to travel to work with and it’s simple and affordable.

Please allow up to 7-10 working days to receive your permit. Upon receipt of your application, a temporary permit will be sent to your University email address, giving you the right to park on campus until your permit is printed. Please allow 24 hours for processing.
