Staff parking permits are available to those with a University payroll number only. The X permit has no cost and is for those in possession of a Blue Badge. To qualify for this permit type, you will need authorisation from the Occupational Health department.

Have you considered alternative methods of travel?

The University encourages staff and students to use alternative methods of travel and you should be aware that having a parking permit does not guarantee a parking space will always be available on campus.

There is plenty of cycle storage around the campus and you don't even have to own your own bike, you can rent one from our Bike Hub, which is excellent value for money. You might also like to think about joining our Liftshare scheme.  Liftshare can help you find colleagues to travel to work with and it’s simple and affordable.

Please allow up to 7-10 working days to receive your permit. Upon receipt of your application and copy of your Blue Badge, a temporary permit will be sent to your University email address, giving you the right to park on campus until your permit is printed. Please allow 24 hours for processing.
