Training ModulesModern Slavery Training ModuleDescriptionAbout the Course The Modern Slavery Act (MSA) was introduced in 2015 in response to growing pressure to address modern slavery, forced labour and human trafficking in the UK. The legislation consolidates previous offences relating to trafficking and labour exploitation and makes provisions for the protection of victims. It includes a requirement for businesses to report on how they are addressing modern slavery in their direct operations and in their global supply chains.
This introductory course provides guidance for businesses wishing to implement the reporting requirements of the legislation. This practical online module has been developed by specialists who conduct risk assessments in supply chains around the world, based on real life case studies. It is designed to help participants understand how to address the risks of modern slavery and labour exploitation. Further, the module provides transferable recommendations for developing remediation and practical solutions.
