Parking on campus is very limited and we recommend you consider other methods of travel if possible, such as public transport, liftshare, and cycling. We also offer bike hire facilities.
If you live 8 miles or more from campus during term-time you are eligible to apply for a car parking permit. Students who live on campus are not eligible to apply for a permit, and so we encourage you not to bring a car to University.
The fee is paid in full when you apply online, but will be refunded if your application is rejected. Confirmation of payment is not approval of a permit.

After you have enrolled we will verify your term time address and confirm by email if your application has been successful. You will not receive a physical permit, but your vehicle details will be registered on the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system so that you can use the Wilberforce car park only. A permit does not guarantee you a parking space. 

If you need to park on campus during the restricted hours of 8.30am to 4pm weekdays before you receive confirmation of your permit, you can pay as you go in the Wilberforce car park (card payment only) or Inglemire Lane car park (cash only)  at £1 for 4 hours or £2 for a full day. This cost is non-refundable.

Blue Badge holders and those with a medical condition which warrants consideration for additional support with parking provisions should purchase a Disabled Parking Permit instead.
