Staff A Parking Permit - Part Time

New Logo March 2024

Staff parking permits are available to those with a University payroll number only. The cost for this permit is £25.00 per year. Payments will be deducted from your salary on a monthly basis.

Detailed Description

The University classifies part-time employees as those contracted to work 22.5 hours a week or less. The number of working hours entered on your application will be verified with the Payroll department.

If you are employed on a Temporary Staffing Service (TSS) contract, please do not use this application, but contact [email protected] with your payroll number and length of current contract so that we can provide you with a link to the correct application.

We would recommend downloading a copy of our Traffic & Parking Regulations. Please click here to view.

Have you considered alternative methods of travel?

The University encourages staff and students to use alternative methods of travel and you should be aware that having a parking permit does not guarantee a parking space will always be available on campus.

There is plenty of cycle storage around the campus and you don’t even have to own your own bike, you can rent one from our Bike Hub which is excellent value for money. You might also like to think about joining our Liftshare scheme.  Liftshare can help you find colleagues to travel to work with and it’s simple and affordable.

Please contact the Estates Help Desk for more information on Liftshare and cycling to work. Contact details can be found on our SharePoint site.

Please allow up to 7-10 working days to receive your permit. Upon receipt of your application, a temporary permit will be sent to your University email address, giving you the right to park on campus until your permit is printed. Please allow 24 hours for processing.
